Description
Tharizians are physically similar to Balians, though slimmer in frame and slightly taller on average. They also lack a pinkie, giving them eight fingers in total. Prior to their downfall, the Tharizians were an influential, powerful and technologically advanced people, rivalled only by some of the Sentients of Xaryon. They were also notably secretive, and while trade routes, produce and selected technology were shared with outsiders, it was widely known that they withheld the bulk of their knowledge. When displaced Balian nomads arrived at Tharyss' shores seeking a place to settle, the Tharizians allowed it, on the condition that the newcomers adhere to Tharizian law. The two peoples coexisted under this arrangement, with the Tharizians retaining the right to rule and the Balian leader submitting to their authority.
